We belong to the Seishin-KyoKai Karate Association.

  • 'Seishin' means 'Spirit'. Seishin was believed to heighten courage in battle and make the warrior 'invincible'.
  • The style we practice depends on “perfect movement and exact placement”. This style has fantastic power and accuracy, but is very hard to master.
  • Our club has a number of experienced black belt instructors whose enthusiasm and expertise maintain the quality of Karate through to all our students.
  • Our chief instructor Sensei Phil Shire won the Suffolk Coastal Coach of the Year Award in 2012 (Olympic Year)
